The Battered Wife

A Battered Wife tells the story of Montana and its tormented relationship with industrial mining. The essay “The Battered Wife,” published in Unearthing Paradise: Montana Writers in Defense of Greater Yellowstone, is part of a community effort to stop Lucky Minerals from mining for gold in parts of Paradise Valley.
