MINT Film Festival
Made-In-Montana films and Indigenous-made films are the heartbeat of the festival. The MINT Film Festival defines what a world-class film festival can be as we program more than 75 films from 20 countries. The festival experience is a unique opportunity to enjoy the red carpet, mingle with industry creatives, attend parties, and watch Oscar-worthy films on the big screen.
JR. MINTs Film Workshop
We launched our first film workshop for high school students in Yellowstone County in 2019. Fifteen students enrolled in the week-long workshop and wrote, produced, directed, and edited a short film that premiered on the big screen during the MINT Film Festival. JR. MINTs teaches kids not only the fundamentals of film production, but key life skills such as creative problem solving, working as a team, managing resources, and verbal and written communication.
